2026 program to be announced (hint: it will be beautiful!)

Music critic Clarke Bustard calls Alexander Paley “a master of the technical and expressive tour de force.” The Washington Post said, “His overwhelming agility and lucid expressivity came through in the way he shaped phrases, stroked the keys, enunciated pungent rhythmic patterns and defined prime areas of the musical landscape.”

In 2026, as in the 2025 Festival, Alexander Paley will be joined by pianist Peiwen Chen and Richmond Symphony Orchestra principal violinist Daisuke Yamamoto and principal cellist Neal Cary.
